Capacity to Scale (Cap2Scale) is a practical Enterprise and Digital training program organised by Tentmaker Ghana for Creative Entrepreneurs in Art, Craft, Fashion and also sometime includes poetry, music, movie among other creative sector entrepreneurs.
Cap2Scale is a Tentmaker Ghana Community program which is usually organised to support the community build capacity for market, funding and network.
The program is usually organised with external funding support or with internal support and so are mostly FREE to participants. Each year, Tentmaker Ghana seek funding to train creative entrepreneurs in a six to eight weeks workshop and Networking sessions for between 30 to 50 participants in the number of cohorts as the funding is available but not more than three cohorts annually.
Tentmaker Ghana is announcing the open of application for the second window of the year with funding support from British Council under its Creative Hubs Programme Training Grant to train 30 creative entrepreneurs, fashion category (dressmakers/tailors).
The British Council Creative Hubs programme aims to strengthen creative communities in West Africa by providing creative hubs with training, funding and opportunities to connect with their peers in West Africa and the UK.
Through this Enterprise training and Networking programme, participants will learn, share and create connections with other communities, especially in West Africa and the UK. This is a great opportunity to expand your network and market.
Eligibility:
1. Be a dressmaker/tailor with at least two years after training experience.
2. Have at least 2 apprentices working with you.
3. Must live in or around the following areas: Old Ashongman, Ashongman Estate, Agbogba, Abokobi, Haatso, Madina, Adenta and be willing to attend all the sessions.
4. Ability to read and write in English.
Dates: Monday 3rd – Wednesday 5th September, 2018 – Enterprise Training Sessions.
Fridays 14th, 21st and 28th September, 2018 – Mentoring, Networking & Feedback sessions
Location: Tentmaker Ghana Hub, Pure Water road close to lotto kiosk first, Old Ashongman – Accra.
Time: Training – 9:00am – 5:00pm
Networking, Feedback Sessions: 4:00pm – 6:00pm
