On the journey of life and especially as entrepreneurs, we most often need to fuel our inspiration by the energy that propel some who went ahead and even some of our compatriots. Today we take a look at the life and story of one of Ghana’s media personality whose life and work has been an inspiration and worthy of emulation.

Anita Erskine-Amaizo was born in Jerusalem on 3rd December 1978, where her parents were living and working. She was however raised in Ghana as her parents moved back into the country. Judging by her birthday, Anita Erskine age currently is 40 years. She just began her 40s and still looks young and glowing. Anita is married to Regis and they have two beautiful kids together.

She attended Trent University in Canada, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree specialising in Cultural Studies. She then dived into the ever competitive world of media and keeps getting better by the day.
The vivacious, confident mother of two is an entrepreneur, a keynote speaker, a master of ceremonies (MC), a TV host and a radio presenter. She is also an actress making her an all-round media personality.

Anita first worked at Milestone radio in Canada. After a while she decided to get back to Ghana. Her career in Ghana started in 2006 when she hosted TV3’s mentor, DSTV studio, Pamper your mum, cooking with and making of a Mogul. In 2007, she worked as a corporate communications Director of the then Tigo now AirtelTigo.

Anita has also worked with big brands like Coast Cola, Nestlé, Cadbury, Ghana Breweries, Starr fm and Viasat 1.

In the course of her work, she has won awards for radio and TV personality and also female presenter of the year in 2017.
Currently, Anita is the owner of Reverbgy, a strategic development company. She featured in Yvonne Nelson’s “Singles and Married” and won an award for the role she played.

Anita is an African woman with a vision and on a mission to inspire her generation and the next. She select her battles wisely and can keep up the fight. She is a modern African woman that believes she should be given opportunities not because she is a woman but for her capabilities. Such faith in one’s ability; that is exactly what Ghana needs; more women like Anita Erskine
